Consent for surgery on the retina and vitreous of the eye.
Documents pertaining to the consent of the patient and patinet’s trustees regarding the surgeries performed by our association are available here in all three languages. Informed consent is the process in which a health care provider educates a patient about the risks, benefits, and alternatives of a given procedure or intervention. The patient must be competent to make a voluntary decision about whether to undergo the procedure or intervention.

Patients have the right to receive information and ask questions about recommended treatments so that they can make well-considered decisions about care. Successful communication in the patient-physician relationship fosters trust and supports shared decision making. Medical recommendations for your eye problems and our prescriptions are shown under the FAQ here.
