Uplifting the VR services of Sri Lanka
The Association of Vitreo-Retina Specialists of Sri Lanka has committed to uplifting the VR services of Sri Lanka from its inception. We are involved with teaching trainees and other ancillary staff in the said field as well as being involved with the policy making of the VR service delivery in the country. As part of uplifting the services we are in the process of helping newly opened VR units with essential items for them to start service delivery as soon as possible.
- Funding for the project is through the saving from the Association of Vitreo Retina Specialists of Sri Lanka and allocated one million rupees per new vitreo retinal unit.
